Hi,
As i explained by E-Mail, only the reg/pump/pipes/wiring can cause pressure at the rail to fall as boost rises.. so you are on teh right track mate.

The missfire may or may not be related, but if teh fuel pressure really is falling as pressure rises, then its a dangerous leanmissfire.
