With reagrds to the powder coating topic. I bought 2 cans of black smooth finish hammerite and 1 can of white. If you rub the top coat of the old paint off and take your time with the masking tape and spraying and letting each coat dry properly you get a really good finish. Mines been on for three months and no cracks or any problems at all. Cost me £20. If any one wants a pic of the finished cover then let me know and I will sort it out.
