I’m rebuilding the engine fiesta rsturbo it’s been about 30 years since I’ve done an engine rebuild and I got the crank reground on that occasion so they supplied the new bearings to match


the crank on this engine this time is in perfect condition as it has only done 30k from new so I’m not looking to get it reground .

the main bearing are stamped with 0.25 u/s . Which I assume means undersized, am I correct ?

and the rod say. .25 .

I’ve looked and can’t see anywhere selling 0.25 undersized bearings

any one know where I can get some or maybe improve my knowledge on the subject.
