It's got a Zetec bottom end, thats why it's registered as a 1.8 - I only know this as the tell-tale oil dipstick is at the front right hand side near the headlight, the CVH dipstick is at the back behind the right right side of engine.

Pity all those words didn't tell you that in the description!

The zetec bottom end conversion was quite popular in the late 90s early 2000s, known as the ZVH as the CVH head could still be used and a bigger capacity bottom end from the Zetec 1800 and 2 litre.
