Sure, here decoded:

* = Constant asterisk
WF0 = Word Manufacturer Indicator (European vehicles)
E = Model Variant, seems like this is not from the Sierra
XX = Constant X
G = Product Source Company, Ford of Germany
B = Assembly Plant, Genk or Halewood
B = Model Range, B stands for Sierra or Mondeo, but digits 5, 11 and 12 doesn`t match with this, assuming that the VIN is from the Sierra, so I would like to say that the VIN is not from the Sierra
E = Model variant, seems like this is not from Sierra
E = Date of Manufacture - Year, seems like this is not from Sierra
E = Date of Manufacture - Month, depends what year car is manufactured
87262 = Vehicle Sequnce Number
* = Constant asterisk

digit 5,
B 3 door hatch back saloon, L for a Cabriolet, V for a van, A for a 5 door hatch back, C for a 2 door coupe, D for a 2 door estate, N for a 5 door estate and T for a 2 door saloon.
digit 10,
A is Escort, B is for Sierra and Mondeo, G for a Granada, E for a Capri and F for a Fiesta.
digit 11,
is just repitition from digit 5 of the what model of car it is

For the Sierra digits 5 & 11 shall be 5,B 11,B Saloon 3 door or 5,B 11,F Sierra 4 door saloon
