Hi. I have little problem with my engine loom connector. That 8-pin connector is different than the diagram that shows how to coonect it to car. In diagram there is wire in 1-7, but my loom doesnt have pin 4 and have pin 8. These are checked by numbers in the connector.


1. Black

2. Brown

3. Green

4. No wire in engine side, but in other side there is brown/white wire

5. Black/green

6. Brown/green

7. Red

8. Black/red


Engine loom is from -90 mk3 orion with 1.6efi cvh. And engine is going to mk1 fiesta. Engine loom has wire to oil pres.switch and wires to lambda sensor. So i think there is no co pot.


Can you help me?. And i know there is topic about efi swap, but i didnt find answer there.

Edit: made some testing. And now there is only pin 1 and pin 8 left. If pin1 is ignition live to efi relay, what is pin8?

edit 2: pin1 is coming from edis pin10. Needs 12v?
And pin8 is going to o2 sensor, i think it is heating circuit. Also need 12v?
