I got the new clocks and plug wired in and re routed the cable with as little bend as possible and all seems good it has the slightest bounce when taking off it’s hardly even noticeable but I’d imagine a new cable will sort it as I bent that one accidentally when test fitting the first time.
moral of the story if some one wants to fit the lhd clocks to a rhd in my opinion has worked perfectly and wasn’t too much fuss in the end.
thanks every one for your comments and ideas.
PS all wires crimped correctly one just has tape on it because it was a reducing size and i had never used one before so just added tape for good measure😃
there is also a way of cutting the original plug and taping it but that didn’t sit well with me as it wouldn’t look good nor would he be very secure in the back of the clocks
