I've done a bit of digging and, as usual, the part hasn't been available for some time. The only solution to enable a new, thinner, later type doughnut (1992 onwards - and readily available) to be installed is to swap the output flange and maybe a couple of other things including the front section of prop shaft also from the later Sapphire Cosworth/Escort Cosworth.
Is there anyone out there that has acutally done this mod and can tell me EXACTLY what I need to get and do to make sure this works?
Had lots of people give opinions but nothing solid. Any advice/guidance would be gratefully received.
Alternatively, if anyone knows of a solution/alternative part to replacement, that'd be awesome.
Many thanks.
E rubber can remanufacture your old one all you have to do is post it to Greece get rapped by customs 🤣🤣🤣 these people are great to deal with and do a top job costs around £350 once the import charges have been paid but we'll worthy if you want to keep your car standard. Hope this helps.
