Hi, First time on here so perhaps someone may be able to help.
Ford Escort 1996 1800 Ghia.
Problem
Heater Blower inside car stopped working.

No power from either end of fuse 20 (25amp) on front of box. (Ignition on).

put power to output fuse and it works.
Put power to switch in car and it works.
A live wire should come from fuse to the switch (which is dead )
Worked on/off after test several times but then stopped again. Haynes manual says fuse goes to IGNITION RELAY. Possibly faulty.
Where is it ?? On the fuse board or elsewhere ?
Also, quick fix
Replaced front windscreen does not have a heated screen so switch for heated windscreen redundant. Is it ok to take power feed from heated front screen switch to the Blower switch which would fix the problem if i cant replace Ignition relay.
