Hi all I have a mk2 with a 2wd yb turbo I’ve had 6 months of fault finding. The car started then after few seconds died, after testing and changing a lot of things I’ve worked out my iscv isn’t working, I’ve bought a cheap iscv from China off eBay and hey presto the car now runs even if it’s not great, the problem I have is when I turn the ignition on the ISCV fires on and off constantly making a loud clicking sound, I think it stops when the engine is running but then returns once you switch engine off then turn key so the ignition is on, does anyone know why it will be firing rapidly? Is it no good or do I need to adjust base idle or something ? Thank you for your help
