Ford Focus DURATEC VCT 1.6L 2006

Hey peeps, i'm praying that someone can assist on this issue.....

My battery died and I replaced it, since then I am getting a P0102 and P0458 errors with rough Idling on start. I Bought forscan and a proper adapter so I could read the codes as previously had a little code reader that didn't tell me much.

I read up that it may be the MAF sensor so first removed and cleaned it but no difference so bought a replacement..... Still no difference.

I took the tape and covers off the cables to the MAF and all appear ok, nothing looks broken or chafed. Checked all fuses inside the car and all are ok. Found 1 blown fuse in the engine bay near the front of the fusebox... sorry cant remember which.

I've tried metering the connection by putting a small pin down the plug while it is in the MAF but not 100% sure what I should be seeing on what pin. I assume one of the pins should be 12v? none seem to be that though. Any pointers would be massively appreciated as it has its MOT in a few weeks and really need to get this fixed!
