The Motorways are superb in Poland, very smooth and no potholes but on small country roads I found it off putting when big trucks are coming towards you from the opposite direction and it seemed they were really close to middle of the road and there was not enough space. Roundabouts took a bit of getting used to going the opposite way!! When we were there visiting relatives I asked a couple of them how did they think they would be driving on the left in the UK and they said for them it would be difficult. I guess it is what you are used to.
