Hi got some questions on putting an rst in my mk4 Cabby.

Firstly , what's this part on my metering unit ( bottom left cylinder with red hose ) and it's purpose?

Secondly I bought an rs brake servo hose but it has the same end as my standard one , how do I get it to fit into air chamber?

Think that's it for now be more though.
