Hi Ray, I do agree with you regarding the crazy money that the RS500 sold for recently but to some people nearly £600k is pocket money!!! A Sapphire Cosworth also sold for £90k!! I have never looked at my car as an investment but we have to be realistic now about replacement value if it was stolen/not recovered or burnt out /written off. Agreed value comprehensive insurance is a must if you have a nice example.I think what is a shame is how a lot of owners now hardly ever drive their cars because they are worried about putting miles on them. I never Sorn mine and it gets driven and enjoyed.
