They are on the up price wise and will continue BUT beware a lot have come onto the market claiming low miles and off the road for many years. The fact is if no paper history a 150k car in 2005 will today be flogged on as a 50k car. 90's mods and fresh paint usually gives this away.
End of the day its just a sierra that rots like any other ford.
Buy on condition not miles.

Fords complete lack of any rust proofing when the Sapphires were built is the main reason there are so few 2wd ones left now. I have owned mine for 26years now and the one owner before me had it waxoyled from nearly new and luckily rust has never been an issue on mine. Just had yet another MOT with no advisories. Mine has done a genuine 112,000 miles but has had lots of upgrades and modifications over the years and it still looks superb and with 450bhp can still suprise a lot of newer "performance"cars.
