I have recently bought a 4x4 sapphire which has a few issues:

1 The speedo needle tends to bounce about then settles at the correct speed, I’ve found after a bit of Googling that the speed sensor can cause this. I’ve found a replacement for £60 ish, what would be the likely cost for labour to get this replaced, does anyone have any experience of this or can suggest what may be the issue.

2. The headlining and c pillar trims are sagging, I’ve found a trimmer who can sort it but he needs me to remove the panel, I’ve found that it can be taken out through the boot so no need to get windows out, I can find plenty of vids on YouTube showing howto refurbish the panel but none showing the actual removal, I’m not particularly technically minded but it doesn’t look to complicated, anyone have any experience of this? After watching the YouTube videos I’m quite fancying having a go myself at recovering the panel, anyone already done it?
