When you read on how many left website it does state data inaccuracies occur as of typos and some models don't have full names listed on the v5s
It still makes sense as you say regarding the 2wd Sapphires, a combination of rust and abuse drove the sale price of them down to silly money and a lot of people bought them,thrashed the life out of them and then scrapped them.I remember seeing real rough examples with dents, rust and smokey engines etc. Now most owners of 2wd Sapphires look after them and take a pride in them. I have had mine for 29 years and it gets a lot of attention at shows etc.
