Ok - it failed the inspection as the engine number could not be sighted from below/ with wheel off etc. the engineer believes it has been repainted and the number covered.
I now have to attempt to view it from removing engine items from above - obviously the air box/ various hoses etc. A photo will do so fingers crossed.
