before you jump into any mods you need to check the car over really as most with kits on if there arnt done right there rot the rear quaters out and sills aswell.. but it should be a silvertop zetec in it if its a genuine xr3i mk5 escort
there is some welding on 1 of the sills
first jobs is to take it up in the air and pull the side skirts off , ill be also pulling the carpets out and check for any signs of rust , then sort this and undersea it all ensuring not to trap damp and rust inside
brakes will be second then ill start on the body work and full repaint
how ever I like having things ready , so if I plan on a engine change or upgrade ill start looking for options now . thanks for any tips
