Hi All - a little help needed please.

No reverse lights on either side when put into reverse gear.

I have checked for power at the bulb with ignition accessories on and nothing. The other lights worked ok. I then looked for the switch on the gearbox and what looked like the switch and a 2 pin plug were all alone and not plugged into anything. Photos below

I am presuming this is the reverse switch? It certainly looks like it as it is a 2 wire (hoping)!!!
Ok - if it is the correct one, can someone please indicate how I now wire this to the rear reverse lights please? Thanks
