Has anyone turbocharged the original 1600cc efi from a late mk4 XR3I? My understanding would be that a Fiesta RS Turbo engine and ecu would be easiest route but these setps are now very rare and risky buying old secondhand. So with my car being efi, standalone management shouldnt be a problem sorting, would efi head need need anything doing other than a cam maybe? Would the car require mods to the block and a change of pistons? Would want around 190-200bhp if i was to do conversion.
I know id need address brakes,need intercooler ,t3 etc.Thanks.
