I think parts like oil filters could be used from an old escort gt that had the 1.9 cvh. But then again, one job lot order would keep me set for a long time.
I guess planning and finding a good one is the first hurdle.
I would say Germany would be a good place to start your search as it will most likely be left hand drive. Try Germany E-Bay cars for sale or similar sites I have helped out a guy in New York who has a European Sierra Estate a couple of times with spare parts for it as there are none available there.I have a WhatsApp contact in Hong Kong who has a Sapphire Cosworth which suprised me but as I said people in countries all around the world have classic Fords!!
