so my 1989 2000E 2.0l dohc sierra is currently over heating I left it with a local mechanic he was changing sensors ie coolant sensor, thermostat fan sensor, and radiator sensor. to no avail he couldn't sort it so took it to a electrical mechanic he sorted out the fans said that the cable was broken so he ran a new one now the problem is that with all the different sensor's in it now ( not sure if mechanic gave mine back or not as he said he had ones from an old car) it shows that the temperature gauge needle is on the red on the gauge but the car isn't over heating.I put a new ford oem radiator sensor and a new fan sensor ford oem but engine is fine fans kick in when have to but just the temapture gauge is well in tje red anyone know what this could be? thanks
