ive had 205/40/17s on 8" rims for years no issues there are obv streched a little but fine.. i think it will be a safe bet just so you no there go on without hassle otherwise you will end up haven to sort arch lips out or trim stuff and these days with values of the cars does anyone want to do that for a sake of a set of alloys lol..
