Default Mondeo Mk3 2.0l Tdci DMF noise?

Recently picked up an '05 plate 2.0l Tdci Mondeo as a second car/runaround.

Previous owner replaced its clutch and dual mass flywheel replaced in December 2019 (at around 120k miles), and when he serviced it last summer (after only 6k miles) one of the advisories was "noisy dual mass flywheel."

There's definitely some noise at idle (upping revs by 200-300 makes it more or less disappear) and at low revs when driving, but it isn't changed by depressing the clutch, as far as I can tell.

Is it really possible the DMF is worn out after only 6k miles? If so, would I get more severe symptoms as a warning before it fails? Don't want to throw much money at it but equally I'd like to get a year or two out of the car if I can.

Car is booked at garage (not dealership) so they can test drive on Monday but any advice you can offer would be much appreciated.
