I just got my hands on a 09' Focus Hatchback 1.6 TDCI, I was told the turbo was shot (bearing was all gone), I did not start the engine until the turbo was replaced and oil pan was cleaned, quite a lot of metal particles was found. All put toghter and engine was started, the engine is knocking badly and will not rev. above 2800 rpm, it seems like the knocking is from the valvetrain area. I've just started removing stuff to take a look at the camshafts. So what I'll find will be posted here. if anbody got some good advice I would be very thankfully. My first Ford though
ps: quite a lot of codes was active, but was cleared and did not come back after start up, engine has been running just a couple of minutes after new turbo, oil, filter.
The car has only 90K km, timing belt was replaced in May 20
