I always think the less restrictive is the exhaust after the turbo, the best spool you will have. Especially because you need to have the biggest temperature diffence before and after the turbo and you kill the harmonics with the turbo.

Now I wonder if it's really true. Some people say the have lower boost with a smaller diameter exhaust size even a known mapper.

Did you encounter more turbo lag by setting a larger exhaust pipe after the turbo ?
