Hi Glenn,it is not only Sapphire Cosworth's prices that have shot up , all classic Fords are fetching top money. I never bought mine as an investment but I think my agreed value is about right. There are fewer and fewer 2wd Saffs around and I think prices will continue to rise. If you have'nt done it yet get yours insured with a realistic agreed value or you could find yourself out of pocket if the worst did happen.
Last year I had an agreed value of 18k. I know mines had a bit of welding but I think it'd worth more. I also bought my saph to use and enjoy and I will continue enjoying it too.
