im considering rebuilding a 2.0 duratec from a fiesta st. The current owner has noticed a noise above 3000rpm which he thinks is bottom end?

it’s a cheap engine as it is and I want a project but is it worth it?

I know my way around engines a little bit and I really fancy having a go rebuilding one. Eventually I may fit it to my kit car.

id be greatfully for advice and comments if you have done similar before.
