I checked the spark with a spark plug tester and also with a spare lead earthing the plug on the block.It was starting to get dark and if I had done it earlier I would not have been able to see the spark at all. I will try swapping the leads on the firing bank and check the voltage into the coil this afternoon and reply later. Thanks so far.
