ah that explains, why theres no decent looking mk4 2.5s then.
Shame they didnt make a mk4 ST estate with the 2.5 lump and along the lines of a tit X sport look. Im sure they would be a sort after car now, and a decent amount of modded 400BHP+ examples about! oh well.
But you've summed up my thoughts on the mk4 replacing the mk3, the mk3 ST seems to me a modern day xr4 , with a nice sounding V6 and manual gearbox attached
I think in Australia, the 2.5T Titanium X Sport was badged as an XR5 Turbo, so was sold as a more overtly sporting model than it was here.
