Just jumping on this thread, I’ve got a fez st150 with a focus rs mk1 engine and box going in . The cluster was missing and what looks like a bike one fitted. Would the st cluster not communicate with the frs ecu. Thanks for any answers👍
Trick to using the FRs ecu is matching the spec to the tune. So if you have all the Rs sensors, injectors and a similar sized turbo and your happy with ~220bhp then away you go. But if you want more power and you want mix and match the build then you may as well start with an aftermarket ecu.
Bluefin have gone bust but a stage one would take a stock Rs to 250 ish and sabre can map them to 400 ish.
