I tried to reply earlier but for some reason my post didn’t submit it’s gone missing!
Well what I said in my post was thank you for your replies all replies are worth there weight in gold as I’m a novice in the Ford market.
I understand in regards to the low mileage cars being sat around for many years and not driven which result in rubbers getting perished and suspension components needing to be changed.
What I am after is originality and freshness of the original car. I’m not saying that is impossible with a higher mileage car I suppose as long as they have been looked after I’m sure they can be really nice cars. It’s just finding the cars I have been looking but not had much luck. A lot of cars don’t have much service history either.
The car in question is overpriced but I am trying to get a better deal off the dealer.
Can you still get parts for the Mark 4 Escort RS’s if I did need to change bushes and components?
I know it needs a new back box.
thanks guys for your help 👍
