Thanks for your reply mate I am a novice in the Ford market so any advice is worth it’s weight in gold.

I understand when cars have been parked for long periods of time and sometime years they do need recommissioning and most of the times bushes and suspension components need changing.
I only know this as I’ve brought a few low mileage cars and that’s what I’ve had to do to them when I take them to my specialist mechanic.

What I really want is originality and the freshness of the original cars. But at the same time I don’t want a bag of problems car where i am chasing my tail.

I have been looking for some of my favourite Fords for a while now but they seem to be with collectors who don’t want to sell.

Are parts still available for these cars? I know it will need a back box with it having some corrosion. Obviously it had been started up but not driven and condensation has built up in the back box.

This car I am looking at is overpriced IMO but I am trying my best to get a ‘deal’ off the dealer.
