The engine code is on the opposite side. The part numbers of the engine/gearbox casting won't tell you anything about the internals etc.

There was such an engine for the MK3 Fiesta (Fiesta S) that wasn't sold over here. But it has the wrong early type water pump. MK3 Fiestas had the later type with only one big outlet. But then you'll also need not just the hoses that are missing (heater matrix -> water pump and thermostate housing -> heater matrix) but also the right hose between water pump, rad and header tank.

It's nearly impossible to find the reason why the rev counter isn't working over the internet. Just check the wires between distributor and the rev counter. When there's something wrong with the wiring (usually the green one) put in a new one.
