To be honest at least half my 12000 miles have been to no where.... Driving just for driving sake....
I could easily have saved 2 to 3 grand in fuel..... 800 on rear tyres etc but I can't resist puting the foot down....
The A service was only 288......the camber and control arms cost 700 quid from Mercedes....
Motor factor parts would be cheaper but its to high a performance car to cut corners
The road damage to the oil cooler and tyre cost the best part of 1200 quid to put right....
I also got the spark plugs changed and transmission service including new sump pan just because I could see no record of it in the service history.... That was another 900 quid or so....
So far I've been lucky, stage 2 mapped Audi S4 466bhp / 430 lbs ft (supercharged V6) just costs me fuel, servicing and cheapish road tax.
Tyres last well and it is surprisingly good on fuel with the 7 speed DSG - I REALLY miss a manual gearbox though but not available with the B8.5
