Default ST170 MTX75 Conversion - A few questions

Hi all,

I've read the well-known MTX75 conversion a number of times and it persuaded me to go out and start getting all the bits together. So far I've got:

- MTX75 Gearbox (XS4R-7F096)
- Tower/Gear Lever
- Standard OEM MTX75 clutch/pressure plates
- Dunnell lightened flywheel
- Gear cables (Ends/adjusters have been modified)
- O/S driveshaft centre bearing

I'm under the understanding that I'll need:

- Non-ST170 driveshafts, am I right in saying both the 1.8 and 2.0 petrol driveshafts will be suitable?
- 1.8/2.0 slave cylinder (Unless the original ST170 item works?)
- 1.8/2.0 Focus clocks? I've read the standard ST170 clocks will read massively out with the MTX75 - so is this the best route to go?

Lastly, has anyone got any first-hand experience doing the conversion themselves? I'm no master tech but I'm more than willing to give it a blast with some help. Anything to bear in mind?

Thanks for reading, I didn't really want to bump a 5 year old thread in the original MTX75 thread. Here's a piss-poor photo of my dirty car anyway.
