I like to retard timing a little on the base line over 2000rpm so it burbles nicely on over run. I then have my "over run fuel cut" on a 5 sec delay so it burbles for a bit then cuts fuel and goes to a "flat" over run exhaust tone.
I noticed that last night on my testing runs, I like the burble, better than the overrun quietness!
after looking at my logging,its not really following my afr table very well, so ill drop to trying to tune VE instead.
its running well now,still a little rich, but Im being cautious and pulling it lean slowly.
my one bug bear is the just off idle dead spot I have. Its going to be a tweak with AE, but not sorted yet!
next is to work on my spark table.
how areyou getting on with your idle issues Roger?
