I've just been reading up about different dampers

From what I've read twintube dampers generally are softer and more compliant whereas monotube are firmer by there design

My question is if I'm right in thinking a monotube damper will require a softer spring than a twintube damper as the monotube is firmer and faster to dampen the spring ?

Not something I'd thought about til literally just reading about it 🤔🤔
