Thanks, but mamaged to get it sorted, I replaced a faulty lambda sensor, then reset the throttle position sensor with my mates diagnostics tool( something you have to do after replacing crankshaft breather pipe and cleaning the throttle body). It then said I had a P1000 fault, which apparently corrects itself after you drive the car for a while, so I took it for a drive, but it carried on cutting out at every junction or everytime the revs went below 750rpm, so I parked up outside the house and she idled for 2-3 secs before cutting out, so I tried again and again she ran for 2-3secs before cutting out, I thought maybe 3rd time lucky and after revs dropped to aroung 600rpm she recovered and settled at a steady idle of around 750rpm 👍🏻. Apparently you have to give time for the throttle position sensor to relearn itself. Proper chuffed, a little persistence paid off in the end.
