Following on from my continuos never ending search to find the answers of this age old question ,

MK2 focus 2.0 TDCi donor
MK1 (facelift) transit connect with tired engine

I have worked out that physically the focus 2.0 should swap over all fine albeit a few slight mods and Franny's to sort , I need the ECU, ignition reader ring thing, clocks , in tank pump from the focus for the conversion

As far as I can see the plugs for the ECU are all the exact same across both vehicles , the clocks are the same but I have not checked the plugs connections to the back of them !

Is there anyone at all out there that can relay some wisdom on weather or not this conversion is going to be as simple as say the st170 swap ? Or if it will be a real head masher 🤮

My van engine won't last much longer and I don't want to waste the focus to a breaker with alot of money and time spent into the engine etc
