i would happily do a perfect smaller rim or a bigger rim with a higher profile, but to be honest now I have done it once and kind of learnt a way of doing it I think nylon covered tools would be ok, that rim was already crazed but it didn’t get any deep scratches.

if I can find the bits in the garage I will make an assist arm for it, and see what difference that makes.... I only bought the machine because I was board on eBay
