I made my self a 6 degree rear beam and wanted to fit it under the car. But i noticed that the PU mounts were to high causing the guide plate to sit about 2cm off the chassis. I know that in the 6th month of 84 somethings got changed on the Sierra's. And i've got an early 84 XR4i. But are these changes also for the chassisrail? or is this a mk1 mk2 thing?

I've seen a topic for solid beam mounts being to short (also 2cm). And my mounts are 2cm too long on top.

Any one ever had this problem before?

as you can see these ones can be fitted without the spacer making them shorter.
