Hi all,

My GF’s 2012 Mk3 Focus Ecoboost has serious damp problems!

Seems to be getting in through the boot and running off under the carpet and collecting in the rear passenger footwell.

Literally a puddle!

Checked the threads on here first.

Hinge seals seem fine. She had a whole light replaced by Ford (wished she’d asked me first) which didn’t work.

Where the hell is it getting in?

I fixed a similar problem on my older Mk2 Focus by sealing up the boot hinges, but the Mk3 is different so not sure where to apply sealant?

Could there be a hole underneath or should I try sealing all the screws round the lights and bumper?

The whole car is damp and mouldy now!
