I prefer the handling of the ST220 to the MK2 Focus ST personally. The Focus felt a bit of a lumbering beast compared to the Mondeo.
I felt like the Mondeo (mine was an 2006 ST TDCi) was like driving a boat, comfy but soft. I did grip and handle well.
