I am a big fan of the stock ecu because it’s cheap and I like a challenge but the St will give a lot more with stand alone management and vvt control, throttle bodies and good exhaust.
I would say if your not good with wiring don’t ruin your 3i.

The difference is probably 30hp and that could cost 2k for bolt on parts and the standard St with 160 ish would still be a huge giggle over a cvh.
