In terms of value I think standard is always going to be a safe bet but having said that me personally would always want modified as a standard cosworth does nothing for me so I guess there will always be a market for both. I think you need to go with what you want and not think to much into value as if it’s a nice car and modified with the right bits it will always be worth a premium IMO
