When I had the skyline box it would spin in 4th with a wide throttle on a cold or damp road when in 2wd mode.
The higher the torque the faster a car will accelerate as long as it has traction and the lower the torque in the rev range the better...where there is traction hence why all the 4wd electric cars with monster torque and a motor on each wheel are so fast. The new E porsche is just silly.
With a 2wd car and making the torque later in the rev range it helps traction as the car is moving.
I am not knocking the car, just assumed it would make more torque for the BHP but if the turbo comes in later obviously the revs are higher.
