You are misunderstanding what I am saying, what I am saying is the aebs can be disabled on the dashboard so the vehicle will not apply the brakes if you get too close to something in front of you. As I said a couple of posts above yes the warning alarm will beep if you get to close to the vehicle in front of you but with the aebs disabled the brakes will not be applied automatically, that is what I was getting at when I was saying the system can be disabled, I didn’t mean that it can be turned off completely
