Who fitted the aftermarket ECU? This person should know which signals are used!? Usually it's at least CPS, some also combined with a camshaft sensor.


Misfiring can have a lot of reasons. Wrong amount of fuel, wrong plugs, wrong leads etc. Oh and early EDIS were standalone systems... So it CAN be a rev limiter although you have an aftermarket ECU fitted.
